Samuel Harry posted by Lazarus and others and wondered if any of them have found out when and where he died? I have already found some info re marriage, primitive methodist circuits and him going to Australia into drumbo but have now got stuck! Samuel's sister Claudia was my great grandmother and I would be interested in any info re the family. Many thanksHi Pollyanna, not sure if you are still looking for year of Samuels death but it was 1931, the same year his son Gilbert died here in Gympie, Queensland. Not sure who died first but Gilbert wasn't well after the war and sadly took his own life. His dad died in Canada. Hope this has been helpful. Cheers Debbie Harry-Clarke

Hi Rex, I have great grandparents Richard Harry born 1832 married Mary Ann Humphries Hicks. From what my grandmother told me the Harry's tradition was the first boy born to the eldest son would be named Richard. This could be why there are so many of them around the same age

Hi Lazarus, finally got back onto site. Yes I live in Millmerran now. I've just started my research on Gilbert Harry. I have just found out that Capt. Dick (Richard) Harry is my Great, a Great, Great grandfather

Hi, I am enquirering about Gilbert Harry. I am a descendant of the Harry family from St Ives who came to Australia in 18388/39. Would anyone be able to give me details on Gilbert's family. I now live in Millmerran where Gilbert had his farm. Thank you. Debbie Harry-Clarke
