Family History Beginners Board / Re: Kathleen Margaret Kelly

Hi All

My uncle Patrick Thomas Kelly was born in Manchester 1906, he died fighting a mill fire in 1934.He was my dads elder brother His death is within my family history.
I believe he married Mary Holden in Bury / Lancashire in 1931 and had a daughter Kathleen Margaret Kelly in 1932. His marriage and the birth of his daughter I have yet to confirm, the information within this post is from searching only. None of Patricks siblings are alive today.
Please has anyone any information regarding Kathleen and her mother, I am going to send for a copy of Patricks marriage cert, but in the meantime any help would be appreciated

thank you so much, still takes me some time to understand what to do, I have built separate family trees as I go along. I know it's not really how to do it but it helps me see it a bit clearer.
Still trying to get my head around Wildman Street Yard.
Seems funny that Thomas is not around and that Jane - Head of household & Jane as wife, I know that Margaret was in service at that time and I'm sure I saw that Nancy was too.
As you say on wards & upwards.

Hi Cas

Please bear with me, don't understand the links like you do but hope the following is of help

Richard Bell & Grace White

son  Matthew Bell / married Mary Ann?  had 6 children including daughter Hannah born 1867
Matthew died 1902 and Hannah served what looks like poss had 3 prison sentences, incl 1911
It looks at the moment that Hannah was the last child to live with him in 1901 census

Hi MaxD

Thanks for the info, it really doesn't take much to confuse me as Cas can confirm, but I have just checked my dads birth cert and my granddads marriage cert and they both say my granddad was in the 3rd Lancashire Fusiliers.
My apology if  am not understanding your info. I have only been doing family research for approx 5 weeks, and am at times struggling to know what things mean, abbreviations and where to go for info

Regards
