Greetings from Washington, DC.  I've information on Clementine de Vere (Ionia - Princess Clementine Eristavi Tchitcherine), Elise de Vere, Frank Tchitcherine, and Vladimir Eristavi Tchitcherine.  I'm interested in sharing this information of their time in Russia, France, and the US..  However, as there are so many details and threads, specific questions are best.  Thanks in advance.

Dear Caroline,  It has been a long time.  Hope that your sister and you are well.  I have the information that you seek.  You should take a look at IoniaSecrets.com.  It is a book about Clementine de Vere, Princess Ertistavi Tchitcherine, Prince Vladimir Tchitcherine, Herman Weedon, Frank Godsol, Charles de Vere, and Julia Ferrett.  I'll suggest a PM.  Have a wonderful day.

There is a new portfolio of posters for Clementine de Vere - Clementine Eristavi Tchitcherine as Ionia.  A new poster, previously unknown, has been discovered.  This bring the total number of Ionia up to 11.  The portfolio can be seen at MagicPosterGallery(dot)com under the performer's name of Ionia.

When Clemetine Eristavi Tchitcherine lived in Washington, DC at 1601 Argonne Rd. NW, the apartments were called the Phillip Terrace Apartments.  They were built around 1926.

All the best,
Charles

Yes, I can give you information on Princess C.  She was married to Prince Eristavi Tchitcherine.  She was born in Brussels to English parents.  She passed away and is buried in Paris.  She did live most of her life in Paris, did have a family home just outside of Paris and then moved to Cap Ferrat.

The background on the Prince that she married is a bit hazy.  He was from the Ukraine or Georgia.  Eventually he made it to the United States.

Is there any other information in the address book regarding the Princess?  What is the exact wording on the back of the locket?  Can you send me a  photo of the locket?

I do not know how she met your grandmother.  Although the Princess was very aligned with the arts and theatre.
