Your right, John Blackburn married Elizabeth Major. We also have an Elizabeth Taylor elsewhere.

Yes that is him. The descendants are around Brisbane . One Uncle was named Alexander  (the eldest boy) . Mum was a Blackburn. It might help someone this information.

I have a John Blackburn who was my great grandfather who put in his marriage notice that his parents were Alexander and Jean of Greenoch when he got married in Brisbane in 1889 , he married Elizabeth Taylor. He died in Brisbane in 1928. Anybody???
