Shurleen lane is just down from townspark. Barracks Street which is name there is called Woodstock street now.

When where Peter and Catherine married and if you are looking for begley you should also look at Bigley as that's how it was spelled for a long time and Catherine could of went by the name kathleen or Kate.
Begley came from graiguecullen just over the bridge than from there they spread out all over the down. As its should all begley's are possible related in the town if you have more info on them I could help you out more. My granddad is a begley

They are not the same person as Ellen Bigley was a Moore for bridewell Lane. And I think your ellen married in 1918 to Christopher mcdonnell/ mc Donald. Here's the image from Irishgenealogy.ie

I know that but if his father was either a labourer/boatman that distance wouldnt make a difference as the barrow connects them both and could of easily travelled up the river. Last thing don't mean it to sound bad if it does sorry in advance graigue is actually laois unless us from Carlow want to piss them off we say it's carlow as there's been along disute over where the border is so there's right now a big triangle on the map.

I think this is Pat's baptism in Graignamanagh to james tobin and mary doyle.
and for graiguecullen sort is always Graigue.

Hi you have all the records but I looked up St michaels old cemetery athy and found this.
Matthew Murray 6 Leinster Street Athy Who Died 17/1/1938 Aged 65. His Wife Margaret Murray Who Died 23/2/1956 Aged 65. His Daughter Mary (Mae) Murray Who Died 7/7/1937 Aged 16. Infant Sons Aiden & Anthony Prendergast. Matt Murray Who Died 21/1/1996 Aged 77.

And found his first marriage
Erected By Matthew Murray In Memory Of His Wife Bridget Murray Who Died 29/8/1916 Aged 37. His Son Matthew Joseph Murray Who Died 9/4/1901 Aged 13 Months. William Joseph Murray Who Died 29/29/5/1904.

Think it's the right ones if so I can try and find the headstones and take a picture for you I'll be in there sometime this week. All found on page 3 & 4.

Hi I found a John wise on Findmypast.ie in Cheshire with an event in 1848 which could be be what you need sorry can't look at it as I have to renew my subscription.
