Greetings,
The KASSELL tree has a twist to it. The CAWOOD link appears to be valid; however the KAYWOOD / RAYWOOD link is a source of confusion.
I would appreciate any help out there on resolving this conundrum.
What I have is as follows:
1) James KASSELL (1800-1845) married Sarah CAWOOD (1805-1863) in 1825.
2)His son Henry KASSELL (1830-1877) married Elizabeth KAYWOOD / RAYWOOD (1832 -1917) in 1855.
The CAWOOD link appears to be good as a grandchild of James through his son John KASSELL (1841-after 1911), namely Lewen Cawood KASSELL carries the ancestral link to CAWOOD.
Any validation of the correct KAYWOOD / RAWOOD interpretation would be appreciated. A number of family trees in Ancestry refer to RAYWOOD as a preference.
Of course any contributions such as the branches themselves would also help.
