1884 Would be about right which would make it early Edwardian.

I agreeing with Aghadowey, she has her hair down which usually indicates that she is below the age of marriage. She looks to be in her early teens. It's not easy to be precise but between the dates that you have given.

It's those extra pieces of unexpected detail that make the enumerators human, something we never consider, are the conditions that they had to endure when getting the job done.

The first one is Edwardian and as already been suggested, 1920s for the second one.

Always worth a try Brigid, I have emailed copies not only of postcards but memorial cards too to people that I found in Ancestry trees and their pleasure and surprise is always worth it.
