Another program that is free to make a start menu like 7 is at:http://classicshell.net/
I've used it for a long time but no good for my current problem with Win 11.

As a verified technophobe I can't seem to operate the 3rd party option either! So guess I'll have to stick with the 2 page option? Why do microsoft modify something that's not broken?

I've just downloaded Win 11 and the right click options now cover 2 pages but I prefer the 1 page version that was on Win 10. How can I get it to revert to that one simply please?

Heywood, thank you for the baptism record and it could be that Evelyn was the daughter of Edwin, Laura's brother.
Thank you ALAMO for the research.

The 1921 shows Evelyn aged 2y 11m in Linz, Austria on my copy. There is another Evelyn aged 13y 1m born York and she was Laura's sister.

I suppose I was clutching at straws really. In retrospect it seems unlikely that he'd have been in Austria towards the end of WW1. However he was recorded as a soldier at his marriage to Laura in 1918 and in 1921 he was in the RAOC. Presumably he would have served in WW1?
