thanks for all your help its fantastic i have established that Amy Wright was Graham Teer"s  grandmother now all i have to do is trace living members of his family and get in touch with them. thanks again everyone again for your help

Why do you think that he may have lived in the Salford area?

Hi the reason why i think he may have lived in Salford was the person who owned the watch used to live in Salford before he moved to Australia where he died and he had Wrights in his family his name was Teer as i know no one in his family i could not check them out thats why im trying to trace the Wrights through here, i could reveal what is engrave on the watch to help but i want to make sure it goes to the correct family. i live in Australia thats why its hard for me to trace the families. thanks everyone for your replies the J WRIGHT im after was alive in 1937 as he was presented with a pocket watch by members of the sjts mess  i have that watch in my possession and i wish to return it to his family if i can locate them i think might have lived in SALFORD area
