Can anyone please find more info on this soldier Davies A Private 2nd Lancashire Fusiliers. Mobalised as a reservist at the outbreak of hostilities he was sent to France with the first expeditionary Force, and fought atI the retreat from Mons, and afterwards in many of the important battles of the campaign. He served all through the retreat and advance of 1918, and returning to England soon after the Arrmistice was demobilised in February 1919. He holds the Mons star and thegeneral service and victory medals,
