As it turns out, that is my own record on Ancestry, and the second wife was just a guess.  :)
Thanks for taking the time to try to help me out.  I'll just keep plugging away and hope for a break-through.

Wow, I'd like to look at that one.  Could you pm me as to where you found it please?

Sorry I missed your meaning.  I suppose that's a possibility.  I'd need to search more along those lines.  I just don't see how there would be 3 possible maiden surnames: Ross, Murphy and Fair, and yet the few records that I have found show all those as possibilities.  Confusing!

Thanks aghadowey,
The informant on death certificate was son-in-law.  Hearsay passed down was that she was called Eleanor Lytle Ross.  She was 16 when married, Robert died in 1859 and she never remarried according to all the census records.

Ireland / Searching for Eleanor (Ellen) Murphy or Ross born 1832 in Ireland

I'm trying to locate birth date and location for 2x great grandmother born in Ireland 1832 according to Canada census records and her death certificate in Canada.  Marriage record shows her as Eleanor Murphy, but death certificate in 1911 says father's surname was Ross and mother's was Fair.   She married Robert Lytle in Ontario in 1848.  No idea where she came from in Ireland.
Found Eleanor Ross in Galway, RC (mother's surname is Murphy), but Robert Lytle (origin - C. Fermanagh) and family all recorded as Church of England on census records. Why would she put Murphy as surname in 1848 if she later said it was Ross?  Also found record for 1832 Eleanor Ross in Clogher, C. Monaghan, but no Murphy on record.  Which Eleanor is most likely the one?

His religion in the Canada census is listed as Church of England so he was protestant.  I have found the Little family in Church of Ireland baptism records in Coolnalong with a Robert listed for 1814 but it seems a few years too late for him.  Children's names in Canada were William, James, Ellen Margaret, Sarah, so I think Robert's parents must have had similar names.  There is nothing in the Clones parish records for Tattygormican.  The 1814 baptism record for Robert says parents were Robert and Margaret.  Do you think this might be the right one even if the year is off?

I'm looking for birth and family information on Robert James Lytle (may have been Little) in Northern Ireland. Born between 1810-12. We believe he emigrated to Manvers Township, district of Durham East in Ontario Canada in early 1830s, maybe with wife Eleanor.  Family said he came from Tattygormican townland in Fermanagh.
