Completed Census Requests / Re: 1881 two different results
« on: Friday 31 July 09 16:59 BST (UK)  »
Thanks for your replies, luckily I did know a bit about  Eliza Culverwell/ Thomas Hancock history, from passed down  gossip to my old dad,(88), Eliza,s husband James Culverwell disapeared between the 1871 and the 1881 did a runner, nobody knows where ,she then  got together with Thomas Hancock, had another  large family with him, but called them all Culverwell, most if not all the children  called themselves Hancock when they grew up. so hence poor  Eliza didnt know wether to call herself married, widow, or what on the census, little porkies for  respectability I think.

Could some one please refresh my memory, and give me the name or a link to the LDS (morman) latest web site, not the family search one with the 1881 census, but one  they have started since, as I have lost all my( favorites) since  my helpful grandson updated me to windows Vista, and got rid of XP and most of my stuff! thanks Nora T ( ps, I have had no sound since either)

Hi all, I have been waiting for an opportunity to brag and this  seems like a good chance, last June I became a very proud Great Nana of Grace, and my dad and mother became very proud Great Great Grand parents.5 generations!,  BUT that is not all, when my eldest son was born 50 years ago, he was also a 5th generation, picture in the local paper and all, we did not want the publicity this time, so we just had private photos,I am not really bragging, but we all just dote on our Gracie, who  is a blessing to all of us, and its lovely to have a baby in the family again.nora T

hi, Now this topic has come  up again on Rootschat, it gives me the chance to tell again of my FOUR Timmis brothers, who married FOUR Bull sisters, from 1845 to 1854, William M. Mary, George M. Fanny, Samuel M. Elizabeth, and Henry M. Sarah. the kids must have been very confused about uncles and aunties. They came from Market Drayton.Nora T
