Hi, Elizabeth was daughter of John Dent and Mary Alderson who were my 3rd Great Grandparents. She married William Raine in Roamldkirk in 1813 and died in 1839.
Hope this helps

Hi,
I dont much about the Hauxwell line but here's the little I have:

Hannah b. 1926 to William Bayles Hauxwell  b. 1896 & Lydia Sayer Tallentire
Wm Bayles Hauxwell b. 1896 to James Hauxwell (b. 1855 Barnard Castle) & Elizabeth Bayles.
James Hauxwell b. 1855 to Thomas Hauxwell b. 1830 in Manfield & Mary ?

Hope this is of some help.

I descend from Elizabeth Bayles' mothers line and am 4th cousin to Hannah.

Regards
Lois

Hi again,
Have just read another of your listings. Me thinks the notes on Archie and his job came from me. They were mentioned at the christening of one of his children in Chester le Street and found at Durham Record Office. Unfortunately I can't find my notes on which child!!
Regards (again) Lois

I descend from Archibald and Smithson too. He was a tobacconist in Chester le Street and came from Wakefield. Would love to compare notes. Lois.

Hi, I came from Castle Eden and I remeber the Burdon graves being to the rear  and side of the churchyard. I'll see what else I can find out. Ragards, Barney
