Huckeberry !
This is great info.  From this Brenda looked up marriage for George and Elizabeth and her maiden name is BUXTON... My GrGRan was named for her ...Elizabeth Buxton Ramsden   I always wondered how the BUXTON fit in... I  now have another branch !  Blimey !

Thank you both ,   MA

WOW - Hiya "Chips"  :o

I haven't been there for a while.. I was having trouble with that site  and got discouraged so gave up.  Was sad to hear about "Groovingranny" she and I are connected somehow.  Great to "see" you again ! Appreciate all the  help you gave then and again here.

You take care and Thank You again !

Huckleberry !

Thanks so much. This is great!  Too bad the census was water damaged, but we can figure out the illegible items from what we already know. Entry for  Nicholas would be BAIRD, Nicholas (mother to Ellen b. 1824) unmarried at time of census, but remarried  7 Sept 1851.... This is probably why we have not been able to locate Nicholas since the surname is not legible.

Can't thank you enough.  Do you have this on a CD and if so how would we obtain a set?

Hi Su,

Thats a ditto for me too    ;D  !
Re : Drakes -  Sorry to say I have misplaced her contact info.  I was hoping you still had it as I believe she and Brenda would have a grand time since they have a direct link with John S Arnold.

All the best to you !

Am excited too !  I certainly am not an expert with this site, and it has been most helpful in searching my ancestry.  After you log in look at the top of the page where it says Welcome back and next to your name you will see any notification of personal messages.  Click on there and you should see my message with my email addy.  If you would send me an email I can forward the photo and other info I have.  I am always glad to share any of my findings as I have also enjoyed information that others have shared with me.  Looking forward to hearing from you "cousin"  :)

Many thanks Gill,  never new about the t and d thing.  Will give it a try and see what comes up!

I felt very confident searching my English and Scottish lines, but now, with the German side of the family, I feel somewhat  handicapped and unsure of myself.. So glad to have this panel to come to for help   ;)

I was also told the Thaw could be "Tau".  Any thoughts on this?
