Hiya....I'm wondering if someone can help me please?

I have a James Elford b1750 in Ston Easton, he died 13/7/1823 in Ston Easton & he married Elizabeth Rogers 25/7/1779 in Pilton.  Elizabeth was born 1751 in Ston Easton & died 30/10/1789 in Ston Easton.

Can anyone tell me who James belonged to please??  I have a son listed for James & Elizabeth - James Elford b1789 Ston Easton who married Grace Bryant Millard 27/3/1819 also in Ston Easton.

I have quite alot of Elfords listed in my tree but I don't know where James b1750 & family fit in??  I know that his descendants married into the Mudfords via Cecilia Laura Elford b1864 in Ston Easton......

I am wanting to know about Henry & Elizabeth Horstead.....I have two married couples called Henry & Elizabeth in my tree, same area, same profession, roughly same age, but through census records, etc, they are different people, just connected to the same family.  I'm wanting to know who Henry & Elizabeths parents, siblings were.....so I can connect George Henry & siblings, etc, to the correct parents.

Hiya Wendy,

No sorry, I haven't....I think that George's father was called Thomas & his mum may have been Mary, but that's all I have unfortunately ???  I have no idea about Mary's parents names...this is why I'm struggling, I was hoping to find them out if poss without paying for any certs...but if it comes to it - that's what I'll have to do!

I have 2 confirmed rellies who died on the Titanic...Shadrach & Harry Gale, they were brothers & miners who were travelling to Idaho Springs, California & came from Calstock in Cornwall.

Interestingly...I am also researching the Lightowlers as my gg grandma was Elizabeth Lightowler b1842 in Selby, who married William Richardson.  I'm now wondering if I have anymore rellies involved with the disaster??

Something I have noticed...Mary's age differs quite alot between the census's...it's as much as 10 yrs in some cases  ???

Thanks for those....they're a big help, also you've solved the query on Thomas's birth place!  I am interested in the whole Lightowler family...Elizabeth Lightowler b1842 in Selby was my gg grandma & I'm currently tracing the Lightowlers plus the Townend's.  I'm also looking for George's (b1806 in Knotts) parents aswell as Mary Townend's parents.  ???

Thanks for what you've found already, I'll add that to my info.

I am trying to find the family of Mary Townend b1805 in Selby.  I have her married to George Lightowler b1806 in Knottingley, he was a Mariner.  They went onto have 8 children....
