Europe / Cleverley in Emmerich
« on: Friday 04 June 21 13:14 BST (UK)  »
I'm looking for any record in Germany relating to Nicholas Cleverley (an Englishman) who apparently died in Emmerich in 1651. He would have moved, probably from Amsterdam. Often named as Claes Claverlij or variants in Dutch. Any sightings after 1630 welcome!

Here is the previous entry where the first name is given after the strange contraction

It would be the last word of the first line - if it's given at all - which I'm not sure it is.

Can anyone have a stab at this confession please? The sin of fornication seems to have been between ? Braine and ? Bankes - if it says Bankes' first name.

This should be a London parish but the penny hasn't dropped what this says!

Suggestions welcome.

Thank you very much. The will in particular was gold!

London and Middlesex / Holborn death?

Trying to find the death  / burial of Robert Greenehurst sometime 1620-1640 ish. He was married in 1593 to Prudence Washer (great name) but seems to have spent most of his life as an attorney in Holborn. Would love to know in which year he died.

Thanks.
