Many thanks for your reply. It is a pity that the dates are not compatible.

Does anyone have information about admission records and logbooks for this school in 1880’s. I am looking for mention of my grandmother Rose Elizabeth Croft born in 1871.

I am looking for a report on the accidental death of Percy V Jacquest aged 4 at Milton Ernest in June 1926. Any help appreciated. I presume Bedford Library has archived copies of local papers? Thanks

My thanks to you all ! They are all a vast improvement on the original. I'm not quite sure how to get a higher resolution on the photograph, I'm afraid.

Please can anyone make a better version of this photograph? it is almost impossible to make out the features of my great grandparents seated on the cart. I think the photograph was taken around 1890. Thanks

THANKS TO EVERYONE ! Your efforts have saved me from some added expense !
David, I've been nowhere, just pursuing the elusive Villiers clan and its Australian branch. Still no luck with William Henry Villiers.I might try a post again on the Staffordshire page.

Cambridgeshire / SUSANNAH CRAFT probably CROFT
« on: Thursday 11 October 12 12:02 BST (UK)  »
I need help finding previous records for Susannah CRAFT. The 1851 Census for Abbotsley lists her in the household of William Craft 62. She is listed as Relative and widow age 31 lacemaker born in Gamlingay. In the next Census she is remarried to a James Rook aged 41 born Little Gransden. I feel sure this is her as William J Craft aged 3 born in Abbotsley Hunts and described as grandchild is living with them. He is likely to be the son of William Craft aged 15 in the 1851 Census.   I may not be explaining this very well but I do need help !! I need help finding the birth of Susannah, her marriage to a Craft and subsequent marriage to James Rook. I also need verification of her relationship to 'the grandson' William J Craft
