My grt grt grt grandmother was Hannah Wonnacott baptised in St. Marys church, Lifton, Devon July 1794, her parents were John and Judith Wonnacott.

She married Stephen Burridge in Lamerton on 24 March 1821.

I am trying to trace the marriage of her parents John and Judith Wonnacott.

Any help would be appreciated.

As far as I know I do not have any Robinson, Mcauley or McMullan in my Irish family tree.  If you find any connection I would be interested!

I am looking for any information that anyone may have on my following relatives:

The information I have is limited.

John McGladdery was born in Ballyhoo in 1823, his father was called John I have no information on his mother though a John McGladdery was married to a Jennet about 1775 in Ballyhoo and they had a son called John in 1786 in Ballyhoo.  I was wondering if this was the grandparent of John McGladdery (born 1823) in Ballyhoo.

John (1823) married Ellen Strange (born 1827 Ballyhoo) in 1848 in Ballyeaston, Antrim.

They had six children that I am aware of all christened in Ballyeaston.

Thomas John   Baptized 12 Feb 1849
Jane  Hay        Baptized 12 Feb 1851  (my great grandmother)
Mary               Baptized 13 Nov 1852
Sarah              Baptized 23 Seep 1854
Margaret Allen  Baptized 10 Dec 1857
Anne                Baptized 28 Jan 1862

Jane Hay Mcgladdery married James Boyd on 04.11.1870 at Ballynure Presbyterian Church.

They had three children that I am aware of all born in Doagh.

Ellen Jane     25.11.1870
William John  12.06.1872  (my grandfather)
Sarah            06.05.1875

I have no information on James Boyd, when he was born and who his parents were.  He is my great grandfather but all I know nothing about him.  On his son's wedding certificate in 1903 his occupation is stated as mechanic.

William John Boyd married Elizabeth Kate Sealy on 03.12.1903 at Albertbridge Congregational Church, Knockbreda, Belfast.  They had my father William George Boyd on 25.01.1909.

I know that they were tailors and lived in Portallo Street.  William John died in 1917 and Elizabeth Kate in the 1941 Belfast Blitz.

I have no information on where Elizabeth came from, on her wedding certificate her father is stated as John dec'd. it does not give her age.

William John's sister Ellen married Samuel Stafford Woods in Ballynure Church of Ireland 15.08.1889.

I have a photo of one of my Dad's aunts but I do not know if it is on William Boyd's or Elizabeth Sealy's side.

Any information would really be appreciated.

I have just found information that leads me to believe that the lady in the picture is Ellen Jane Woods(nee Boyd) and the children are her two youngest children Annie born c.1896 and Mary born c.1906.

If anybody has any information on these people I would be really grateful.

Hi Paul

My Robinsons are from Kent in England.

I do not know of any of my relations marrying a Robinson in Ireland though Ballycor is a small area so it is a possibility.  Do you know who your Robinson was married to?

kind regards
Jenny

Hi Christopher

Thank you for your information.

I have recently been told by my brother that Elizabeth Kate Sealy may have come from Bristol but this has not been confirmed.  My father came to Bristol when he moved to England in the 1930s apparently he had relatives there.  It is very frustrating that he never told us anything about her or his relatives.
