Thank you, i had come across the bereavement site and have also looked on deceased online, Sarah Jane has just disappeared, she was quite hard during her life to track down but I've finally found her death certificate and she stumps me at the final hurdle too!

Hello and thank you for the replies, my ancestor which is my great great grandmother actually died on 12.02.1927 at St James hospital, Battersea I have managed to decipher the handwriting and it says that the certificate was received from the deputy coroner of London and inquest held 15th Feb!, her cause of death is listed as coma, rupture of intra-cranial aneurysm, natural. I will email wandsworth district council and see if i can get any further info.

All I know for sure is that 1896 Thomas C Ford in Ealing isnt a brother of William Charles, his parents seemed to have 2 lives, the first part with the first 3 or 4 children seemed relatively normal, houses, school records etc, then their 2nd lot of children, John born 1891, Ethel born 1894 and then William born 1899 lived in the workhouse it seemed and John was what seemed to be all but adopted by the governors (no idea what happened to Ethel) both John and William went into the Navy and both men wrote sisters addresses on signing up paperwork etc......thanks for your time any way

William Charles Ford Father was Thomas Ford, however he appears to be deceased from 1904, but also the later children including william charles were in and out of the workhouse and i cant find from 1901 onwards, but there is a settlement and relief letter where there is a discription of him saying his wife hasnt seen him since 11 aug 1902 when he was going to look for work and she has 2 out of youngest 3 children with her where charles is just3! but no documents about thomas ford have ever stated a middle name. thank you for your help
