Hi Carolyn
Lovely restore thank you very much, I never thought about her patience then, but you are right she must have been well behaved then, how things change in 80 odd years.
Thank you very much

Hello again everyone

Would it be possible to give my Mum a good clean, the photo was taken around 1926 by a S.G.Lamb of either Yorks or Lancs for a soap advert but she can not remember which one.
Any help with the details would be gratefully accepted
Thank you
Liz

Hello Terry

Yes you read it right, Clifford is now sat on the right and he would be grateful that you gave him the Sergeants dog he always said if he or the dog survived the war he would bring him home, unfortunately the dog didn't, except in this photo so thank you for giving him to Cliff

Your work on this is much appreciated Thank you very much

Somerset Lookup Requests / Re: Congresbury Parish Record look up please GAGE
« on: Saturday 29 November 08 16:20 GMT (UK)  »
Hi Thelip

Thanks for the reply, we have been on the WsM site and found some Gage's and have listed them, unfortunately they cant be linked with ours yet.

We have now found the parents of Joseph Gage and his now confirmed sister Fanny, they are, John Gage and Betsy Sawyer, we have found the marriage banns for them and the death details of john, the problem is now we can't find the details of John's birth c 1805. that is for another day.

Thanks again

You have worked so hard on this pic, I hope you have achieved what you wanted to achieve from your efforts.

You are right about changing details in order for the picture to work, and you have made quite an impressive Boxing Booth out of what was a pretty grim scan.

This picture of yours will be pinned on the office notice board for inspiration,as a reminder that one can always do better if they look at the job again.

You are an inspiration to us all.

Thank you

Liz
