South Africa / Re: Looking for Twigg's in S.A

Hi Steve.
This a heck of a long shot I know but better than nothing. I knew an Ian Twigg who worked for a company called Wispeco in Durban, back in the late sixties early seventies. He lived in a suburb called Montclair and was married with a couple of children. He was an accountant. The name Twigg is not all that common in this neck of the woods so there may be a connection. Anyway good luck with your research.
Best Wishes

Bedfordshire / BRANDON - Luton

Hi All.
Anyone in the Luton area familiar with Dumfries Street. My mother was born at number 33 which does not appear to exist any longer, as there is a light industrial area on the north side and a couple of blocks of flats on the south side. However this is not my main query. I am trying to trace my mother's relatives, I know she had a brother Harold W Brandon born in 1914, but that is about all, where he had any children or not I do not know. Would appreciate any information on the Brandon family. I have located my mother's parents, a William Brandon who worked as a Hat Blocker and her mother Mary Jane Turvey all of 33 Dumfries Street Luton.
Thanks in advance
