Hi
Welcome to the site and I'm sure you will find it very interesting.  You mention James emigrating to Bayonne in 1910, however you did not say if his name was James Gallagher or James Ward.  The information I have is that James Ward, son of Neal Ward and Grace Gallagher, emigrated in 1910 to Plymouth in PA and his sponsor was his aunt Mrs Gallagher.  I assume she was Grace Gallagher's sister-in law.
Do you have any info on Grace's siblings?

Hi Lesley
Thank you very much for the reply and I apologise for the delay as I was away for a few days.  Patrick Docherty and Mary Gorrian were my mothers Gr Grandparents and daughter Jane married Matthew Taylor, my grandparents so it looks like we are related.
Since I sent my first post I have found some further info , however I would be more than happy to share any info with you, in particular I have come up against a brick wall with Thomas Gorrian and Mary Daly as I am not sure where in Ireland they originate.
I will send you a pm if this ok with you.
Regards
Nabla

I also had relations (Docherty) who were born in Auchinstarry Row, Croy and this is a really good site.
Thanks

Orkney / Andrew Irvine
« on: Wednesday 01 July 09 23:25 BST (UK)  »
I am trying to find some info on Andrew Irvine(shoe maker) who married Christina or Christian Sinclair on 11th July 1813 in Orphir.  They had the following children Mary b.1814, James b.1815, Cecilia b.1817 and Helen b.1819. Cecilia married Andrew Cunning 1850 and died 24 Nov 1861 aged 42 in Dunfermline, Fife.  I would appreciate any help as I am holiday for the next 2 weeks in Orkney and if I could be pointed in the right direction for more info, this would make my holiday. ;)

Regards
Nabla :)
