Much appreciated

Thanks Stan,

I was hoping to get it sorted without having to go to the library or wherever in Widnes in October.  Ah well these things are sent to try us, but thank you ever so much for all your help.

I have just noticed on the 1911 Census, grt uncle Matthew has written 18 Sayce St, APPLETON, Widnes.  I had a look on on genuki.org as suggested, and I notice there is a Catholic Church there named St Bede's - if anyone out there on RootChat lives in Widnes, would you happen to know if St Bede's has a churchyard at all?

Cheers

Happy New Year to everyone.

I am looking to see if I could possible find which cemetary my grt aunt and uncle would be buried in in WIDNES, Cheshire.

They would be interred in the Catholic Section.

At the time of their deaths they both lived at 18 Sayce Street, Widnes, which I think is near the town centre.

Matthew MULCAHY   died Dec Qtr 1939
Emma MULCAHY      died 21 December 1956

I would like to visit their grave next time I'm in the UK in October and I would be interested to know if any of their children were buried with them.

Kind regards

Hi John,

The tree in Genes belonging to a lady named Hazel is ME!!!!  LOL

Thanks very much for the info of death for his wife Elizabeth Axton, odd Robert's not there though, as he's the Grandfather of my sister-in-law and she remembers visiting them in Peel, IOM - I'll have to get back to my S.I.S and see if she remember's going to his funeral!

Am looking for the death of Robert Albert AXTON b. 1901 in England, but he and his wife Elizabeth retired to Peel, IOM where they both died.   I'm not sure when his wife died, but Robert Albert died sometime in the 1980's.

Any help would be much appreciated.

he's wrong about Ann Elizabeth marrying Mr READING and NOT Mr BARNES!

so have either of you found Mr & Mrs Meercat Barnes on a later census to ascertain Mrs B's age and PoB?

Hi - I did have a quick look yesterday in the 1881 census, but couldn't find anything relating to this couple - I'll try and do a more extensive search today.
