Hi David
I thought you may be interested to know GwentFHS have burials 1904 - 1935 on disc and also Baptisms 1897 - 1920 and marriages 1897-1919. They are titled Fleur-de-Lis Parish.  I saw them for sale on the Parish Chest website.

Unfortunately,  I cannot find Amelia Tingle .  Many of the older gravestones are badly weathered and have become impossible to read. Sorry I could not have been of more help.

hi Jaycem,

The info I have with regards to the monumental inscriptions at Bedwellty are as follows :-

In memory of Mary daughter of John and Mary Thorley of Tredegar who died August 29 1870 1 month.  Also William Thomas their son who died August 22 1881 aged 19 years.  Also the above Mary Thorley who died April21 1890 aged 55 years. Also the above John Thorley who died  Dec 14 1907 aged 82 years.

I hope this is of some help to you.

Thanks Sue,

That's interesting I was hoping Kathleen would not  be described as daughter.  The niece might be worth a look at.
All the information I have been given has pointed to the childrens mother dying in 1893, therefore the yougest daughter would not fit the scenario.  Also I have been unable to find the ref.for Kathleen's birth.

Do you also have access to the 1891 census- if so can you see a Lucy Prosser living near Ahearn family.
regards,

Caroline

Devon Completed Lookup Requests / 1891 Dartmouth harbour
« on: Monday 31 December 07 23:19 GMT (UK)  »
Would anyone able to view the 1891 census be able to search for someone aboard the Royal Navy vessell 'Britannia'.
The person I am interested in is transcribed by ancestry as
Robert M G Knight age 15 born in Glamorgan.

the ref. is Rg12/1710 folio 192 page 9

My query being:- is there a possibility that the original document could be read as
Robert CHIDGEY (or a variation of that surname)?

I have been unable to find Robert Chidgey with his family on this census, however, he was in the navy for quite a few years.

hi Ken,
If you are able to wait a little while, I will see what I can do.  At the moment I am somewhat  tied.  My 4 yr old has a broken arm and my 20yr old has just given birth - so I am a little 'up in the air' at present ???

regards,
Caroline :)
