Hello All!!
I am having the hardest time finding out where the heck my family fits in to the Scottish Clans!  Jackson does not come up on any searches I have done; therefore, we are a Sept of another Clan, correct?  My family comes from Dumfriesshire (of course), they left a long time ago.  My G-G-Grandpa Simon Graham Jackson left around 1840 for NY.
If anyone out there has any information for me, I would truly appreciate it!
