London and Middlesex / Burial of Richard Goodwin d1901 and Ann Goodwin d1883

Hi everyone, I am looking for help to identify where my husband's g grandparents are buried.

Ann Goodwin d 4 Nov 1883 at home, 18 Arnold's Place, Bermondsey
Richard Goodwin d 2 Jun 1901 at Bermondsey Workhouse (in the workkouse death record, it states taken by friends)

I have looked on Ancestry, findmypast, Deceased Online, and the Brookwood registers on Family Search, looking specifically at the municipal cemeteries. Richard and Ann's baptism and marriage records indicate that they were C of E.  Not sure where to look next.  Any help gratefully received.

Hi everyone,

I am looking for the marriage of an Alfred Schofield b 1903 in Ashton under Lyne, England to Hilda Meers, b 1901 also in Ashton under Lyne, England

Alfred Schofield sailed to Detroit via Canada in April 1923, and was naturalised to the USA on  on 10th April 1928.
Hilda Meers sailed to Detroit via Canada in June 1928.

They are both on the 1930 USA census living at what looks like Center Line Road, Detroit, Wayne County. He is a Timber Machinist and they are recorded as being married for two years.

They came back to England in February 1932 with their little girl Amy b July 1931.

We have a picture of Hilda in her wedding dress but have no idea where or when she actually got married to Alfred. 

I have searched on Family Search, Ancestry and Family Search to no avail.

On the marriage certificate both James Field and Eliza Edgar were living at 15 Hampton Street. The witnesses were James Alexander and Catherine Alexander. Hope that helps.

Hi everyone, I am looking for help to identify the parents of Joseph Field, a Glass Blower b c1857 Walworth/Brixton.
I have been unable to identify him on the 1861 or 1871 censuses or on GRO birth records or baptisms of London.
He married Eliza Edgar at St John's Church Walworth in 17th December 1876, on the death certificate he states that his father is James Field deceased.
After a couple of years of marriage they moved over the river to Hackney and in total had 15 children according to the 1911 census, 7 of whom died.
Joseph continued to live in Hackney until early 1930, moving to Langley Gardens in Barking and eventually dying at Romford 1 Oldchurch Road which I think was the Workhouse. On the death certificate, his son Joseph Alexander Field gave his father's name as the same, Joseph Alexander Field, although I have not seen the name Alexander in any other of Joseph's documents and I think this may have been an error by the registrar.
Any help will be gratefully received. Thank you.

Thanks, yes I did think as much, it would seem scrolling through that there are more entries with at least one party resident at The Mitre Hotel than anywhere else. I have a substantial number of ancestors married at the cathedral and had never seen that before.

I have just been looking at the marriage of a relative of mine in 1920 at Manchester Cathedral, and noticed that the groom's address was the Mitre Hotel. On looking further at the surrounding entries, there are many marriages with at least one party resident at the Mitre Hotel. Does anyone know the reason for this?
