Bedfordshire / Re: Records in Bedford

Do the BMD indexes contain all records. Is there a chance that the marriage I am looking for has just not been added?

Thanks

Thanks for the replies. I'm not even sure the marriage actually took place. I am just assuming it was in Bedford and assuming it was around 1924. Thank you for the information. My best bet is to contact the Bedford Register Office.

Thanks again

Where do I have to go in Bedford to find if someone was married there? Could I look through the records myself? Also how much would it cost me? Any information and advice welcome.

Thanks

Somerset Lookup Requests / WILLIAMS Family Bath
« on: Friday 06 February 09 11:50 GMT (UK)  »
I am mainly looking for the baptism of Emilie Adrienne Williams born about 1828 in Bath. She was married in Pierrepont Place Chapel in Bath in 1853 which is Roman Catholic. Her father was Joseph Williams. I would also really like to find her mother's name. Could anyone help me?

Thank you

Census and Resource Discussion / Military Original Page Problem - 1911 census
« on: Monday 02 February 09 08:54 GMT (UK)  »
I've been searching for my great-grandfather, William Thomas Craven born 1887, on the 1911 census. I have seen the transcript but cannot access the original page. He was in the military based near Aldershot, so there is no reason it should not be avaliable. Are many other military records like this? Has find my past said anything about it?

All that comes up is a message saying We are sorry but the image is not currently available. There is nothing to click on to download it

Thanks

Census and Resource Discussion / Problem viewing original image

Has anyone else had trouble viewing the original images? I have only tried to look at one original image so far and it has not worked. Is this expected?
