Hi,

I'm wondering if your Thomas's are the same as mine. Mine originated in Staffordshire but moved to Horden to work at Horden pit?

I use that site often. God only knows how I missed Isabel's baptism but sometimes a second pair of eyes can be better than one. Thank you again for your help.

Roxburghshire / Help Pleeeeez - Thomas Coulthard & Isabell Elliott.

I have found the baptism of my 2x great grandfather William Coulthard in Roxburghshire, Scotland in 1803. It has his parents as Thomas Coulthard & Isabell Elliott. Its information on Thomas & Isabell I am looking for. Apart from being named on the baptism of their son William I don't have anymore info on them.

Hi Susan - my Watsons and Stobbs are from the Weardale area of Co Durham.

Alan.

Ah right. I knew a Stobbs family in Easington Colliery and my husband is a Watson but from Houghton, his ancestors are from Sunderand

Mark - I have just joined RootsChat and have just seen your posting.  I can probably do this for you in the next few days if you are still wanting a photo.

Alan.

Hi Alan,
I was wondering where your Stobbs and Watson's are from?

Kindest Regards

Hi Rainy,

The Gilbert Ridley in your family is a different Gilbert Ridley to mine. Two were born in the same area a few year apart. Mine died in England. Thank you for your post
