Went looking and Clara Jane Lee Kendall wife of John Kendall, daughter of Ship Owner of Sunderland and South Shields, Henry H Lee (I bet its Henry Havelock Lee) died 21 March 1935
... of 1 Berkeley-ave Rusholme, Manchester the admin is her daughter Annie Clara Gibbons (wife of Gordon Colingwood Gibbons) [ONE L in colingwood in will book] over 300 pounds Probate April 24

I searched all I could and got nothing else on the couple

Also another descendant of James Hutton Kidd and Harriet Alice Lee Kidd (Harriet daughter of Ship owner Henry and sister of Clara) and from New Zealand turned up - I suggested to read this and hope will add info or share hello them self.

Europe / Oswalt or Oswald Schmidt in Nürnberg, Germany (Bavaria)
« on: Tuesday 27 March 18 13:46 BST (UK)  »
I hope to find genealogy on Oswalt Oswald Schmidt who lived in Nurmberg about 1957. He was friends with Brigitte Nicklas who lived at Flurstraße 7, 90419 Nürnberg, Germany (Bavaria) 1958 so he might have lived near her. (she later married Ludwig Liederer in later 1958)

Oswalt or Oswald would have been born in the 1920s or 30s - I hope to learn what and where to search.
I do not know how to spell the personal and place names correctly, please forgive.

Please any suggestions will be so much appreciated

The newspapers were amazing for the family in Green Bay, notice after notice of one visiting the other, events and activities and clubs and after thinking of them obscure in Green Bay.

This shows that John had Mary Caroline Carrie Lee Kidd living "on the west side", which is the west side of the Fox river n(she would have been boarding in a nice house which happens to be that of her son's future father-in-law Pierre Salvas dit Laviolette.

John was selling Ridpath's and giving lectures on Hamlet -

and Caroline went to visit John while off selling

they were in Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula certainly through 1906

this article ran three times that I saw leading up to and after his talk

I thought it was not new but I did not remember it - so it was new to me. Genealogy is thrilling all over again. I wonder how long I will be able to think of enough to enjoy knowing any of it.

I mentioned this article on page 12 of this thread. I got the date wrong then it was 1925. Those links from before will not work any longer, I don't think. This one should.

This painting still exists and is hanging at the Lake Worth Library in Lake Worth, Palm Beach County Florida.

This article notes what I believe is the first viewing of this mural

This is from the link provided by the newspaper website they have choices to share their articles this is the embed link

Hi: The Mihran is separate but in the end, I own it also, so it is hoping for a good home. It is definitely different hand and I have have been working to see which Mihran's were in Paris 1901. Two for certain that I can see. I learned from an Armenian researcher that this is an (sometimes?usually?) ethnically Armenian name and is a male name and a given name - so maybe he can get home also.

She was willing to take the pictures out of the shelf.  I really think the lady in the monk picture looks like Carrie. Three of them are fully signed but on the one with the cowboy and lady you can see it was cut, likely to fit that shelf and the name is cut off - except the dd: (with the colon that we sometimes see on his signature at the end of his name- and the 01 of the date.

I understand the law on copyright is 70 years from his death which will be June 8 2022 - but I am not sure what this means as if selling I believe I can post them to see to sell as this seller did - but I want to respect doing it correctly  :)

I wonder if the Satyr means that he was already having feeling about his name then? There is a 1904 passenger record where he uses Winton so I wonder. I am sorry I missed the first one as I believe it looked very much like his self portrait, but the company took that listing off line and the library redid their website and there is nothing there for any of their artists anymore.

 :)
