Am I reading too much into Georges Marriage Certificate with his age and his fathers James name and Occupation (Shoemaker)  ??? Would George's death Certificate tell me his father or mothers name or give me any hints :-\ Karen

Can anyone help with my brickwall
George Hoby b.abt 1834 London  on George's marrige to Catherine York in Manchester 18 august 1859 his father was James Hobin I am trying to find out who George's mother was and anything else on his parents,
Georges children were Jane abt 1864,John abt 1860, Mary abt 1854 ,Sarah 1857,all born in Chorlton on Medlock Lancashire found on the 1871 census

Hi  :D
I am looking for info on Rosannah Euden she was sentenced at the Kingston Upon Hull Quater Sessions on the 16 Jan 1817 sent to Australia on the Convict Ship Friendship June 1817 .she was born abt 1798 in Yorkshire her husbands name was Thomas Euden
Would there be any Court records around for her or him ???

What I can gather they were Letters to the Editor, the hand written one is dated November 1936 its about  death of a William Bennell aged 77 and a bit about the Bennell family who lived in Balkerne Hill his father Samuel Bennell was a Carter
The other one just said Isaac Bennell who sent a Post Card to the Mayor of Colchester and how he can trace the father to son line back to 1640
 Signed by L.C.Sier. 3 High St .Colchester No date I think this is what started  the Letters to the Editor

Hi there
I have been given a copy of a  letter that said in Nov 1936 a letter or possibly 2  to the editor of the Essex County Telegraph about a Bennell family  that lived in Balkerne Hill Colchester  :D. Dose anyone know if I can I  have a look at this Newspaper on line as I come from Australia, or can I get help with a look up please
