Thanks Jen
I have emailed  them back using  a previous request for Sarah Ann's Marriage,
that unfortunately was unsuccessful but they were very helpful with their explanation.
& have now seen the burial does seem to be on their list so could go ahead with that ref #
Lovely of you to help. being so far away I can only get to online researching myself
cheers Bernice

Hi Malcolm
Thanks
Our Thomas Wilson originally  hailed from Northumberland. & After marriage to  Mary Ann (NEE Taylor) was in  Auckland at Byers Green, then Durham Tow Law. they had 3 daughters & a son Arthur we were unable to trace. but as we found there were a lot of Wilsons in the area, so don't expect any connection. just goes to show how these forums can have unexpected contacts
Cheers Bernice

Hi Malcolm what an amazing coincidence Sarah Ann Moor's maiden name is  also Wilson & her daughter Rachel Wilson married and emigrated to NZ.
I went to Auckland libraries but there was no Consett papers to choose from as you mentioned .
So my only hope now would be a local being able to do a look up ??
thanks Bernice

Hi Steve
I put both MOOR & MOORE into find a grave but no hits at St Ives Churchyard in Durham so that seems a dead end too
