Gosh that is very confusing though, why would the advert be using her maiden name rather than married name if it was from 2013.

Yes I had a quick look as best i could and it also appears they take cards as payments too, thank goodness because I have no other way of paying!!

I will email them to find out what the process is, one of the other sites quoted above seemed into indicate you can only pay by cheque if you have to do it by post, very cumbersome.

I have now found the marriage you are refering to Sandra but I must be going blind, it looks like its transcribed wrong, it looks like it says Doris Bedler, not Beck.

Plus there are records for a Doris Beck in New York at the same time as my Doris Cocroft so now Im doubly confused about whether this is a bit of a red herring.

I cant work out why Doris Cocroft would call herself Doris Beck on marriage.

Where do I find this marriage, I cant find it on ancestry?

The marriage is listed on  New York, Marriage License Indexes, 1907-2018 on ancestry.  You would need to get the actual certificate for more details.

Thank you, do you know where I can access the marriage, I cant find it on ancestry. Does it mention her fathers name so that I can prove its Doris Cocroft?

I wonder why Selina Maud changed her name?

Is there a way I can find and order divorce records, I assume she divorced Fred and married Don Beck but is there a marriage for this?

I do find some of the replies hard to read, my apologies, I cant work out what number the post is.
