You were correct on it being amicable.  Once I changed my search on google to amicable society, sergeants Inn at Fleet Street, up popped what I needed. 

Thank y ou so much, we have been misreading the amirable word wrong for almost 4 years now.'

I would really appreciate some help in deciphering a few words in my G.Grandfather x 5's Will.  So far I have: "... I also bequeath to my before named executors upon trust two policies
No. ____ and No. ____ in the Amirable Society _________  ________ Fleet Street and direct..."

Having difficulty figuring what it says after Amirable Society, and I'm not even sure if I am reading "Amirable Society" correctly.  Thanks.

My ancestor's Will is dated 1822.  He mentions leasehold property and ground hold estates.  Can anyone please clear up what these would mean?  I have tried googling for these definitions but they are not detailed enough to give me a greater picture into the meaning associated with the time.  Please... anyone... help!!  :)
