You could do as Plummiegirl suggests and use Google Street View, whereas I just used Google Earth.

I had never used Street View directly before but both ways showed me No. 20 quite clearly. Just keep clicking on the cameras down the street towards the Pub, which is right at the bottom of the road and called "Jersey" something or other.

It isn't red brick, all houses seeming different from one another in little groups.

I am going to Swansea on Wednesday. I am not promising anything but it depends how my OH is feeling!

Why not just go to "Google Street View"

I have done this for all the addresses I have for my ancestors and if the house is still standing I have "Printed Screen" and placed a copy in my files.

I have been very lucky in that very few addresses from 1911 have disappeared.

A different story for much older ones though.

A good and fun way to spend an afternoon.

I even looked up my friends house in Oz. 

Oooh what a smashing site, I have just spent hours looking at it. Thanks for your post! I saw Jersey street down to around number 49 then it seemed to trail off but if No. 20 is similar to the others it's old red brick so not what I hoped for alas!

We have just discovered family that lived in Jersey Road Swansea before moving up to Derby after WW1. We have a photo of what could be our Gt GrandMother taken outside of a house but the brickwork is not consistent with any of the addresses she lived in, in the Derby area. I am looking for a picture of the house/street she lived in, in Swansea; 20 Jersey Road. I haven't managed to find any online. Hope you can help!  Thanks
