I have just realised that the prvious request was for an accident in 1899, my grandfather was killed in a accident in 1906 when the tower above the furnace collapsed killing a number of men. If any one has a newspaper article i would be pleased to have a copy.. thanks Allan Green

Be careful you could get lost.. Pincheon Street is at the bottom of Upper Warrengate the last street on your left. When you come up Peterson Road, Saint Andrews church  will be on your right, the next crossroad is Park Lodge Lane and Upper Warrengate turn left into Upper Warrengate go past the Warrengate Surgery to the end of the street (dead end) on your left is the remains of Pincheon Street it no longer has any homes they were all pulled in the slum clearances. You will see running along side Pincheon street the duel carriage way (Marsh Way) part of the length of this was where Pincheon street stood it was a very poor area of Wakefield containing many back to back two up two down terrace houses.

I have attached a photo of warrengate  to give you some idea  the street running down the side of the shop was Pincheon street ... none of these buildings are now standing

Now Primrose Hill ... if you turn into Park Lodge lane and travel to the end of the terrace houses on your right you will the Primrose hill workingman's club ( now closed down) on the corner of Brunswick Street across the road on the corner of Woodhouse road and Park lodge lane you will see houses 55 and 57 here stood Primrose Hill farm.
