Hi
Have you looked at this web site?

http://website.lineone.net/~stephaniebidmead/other%20sites.htm

the link will take you to Malta Family History
click on Index of Baptisms Recorded by Army Chaplains 1800-1900, scroll down to Parker.  There is this entry - Rachel Parker 1859 22nd Regiment -  unfortunately no other details.

also on the above site, The British Army Garrison Malta 1851-1880
gives that the 22nd(The Cheshire) Regiment 2nd Battalion arrived on Malta in the May of 1859 and that the they left on the 6th July 1865

Hi Kylie

Sorry, no sign of a baptism in Bampton for Mary Dutton,

apart from a Thomas in 1776 all other Dutton baptisms were 1850/60/70s

Hello Kylie

I have checked the OFHS transcript for Bampton.... the marriage of Robert Smith & Mary Dutton was not there.

Had a look on the OFHS Marriage Index, the marriage was included but not in Bampton.  It took place in Oxford St. Michael.  Unfortunately I don't have the prs for there.

Can confirm the baptism of William at Bampton 1 Jun 1810 s/o Robert & Mary Smith.  Sorry, no sign of any siblings.

LDS have put some non-conformist records on line including Blunham. Elizabeth d/o Daniel & Eliz(Thody)Norman is there with just the month July and year 1775.

I have downloaded a copy of the non conformist records from BMD registers for the entry of Daniel Norman jnr.   ...
Danil son of  Danil Norman & of  Elizabeth his wife (whos maiden name was Thody) in the County of Bedford, Labourer. was born this       day of July 1777
Registered the 25th day of December 1791  by me Martin Mayler Protestant Dissenting Minister

Hi David

:-[ :-[ oops re Elizabeth Thody of Cardington..... good job I only pencilled her in  ;D  thanks for that.

I have  just started on the Norman family and Elizabeth (wife of Dan snr)Thody was/is the only Thody thus far.

The burial you  found for Dan Norman in 1838 age 88 ties in well with the baptism of a Daniel Norman  10 Nov 1751 Gamlingay, Cambs........mmm not baptists......maybe converted after marrying Eliz Thody  :-[

Not come across Mark Norman as yet, still early days though.
