The Common Room / Army Service records
« on: Sunday 10 April 22 08:50 BST (UK)  »
I applied for the army service records of William Monteith 1904-1967 in March 2021 I have still not got the records 13 months on or an acknowledgement that my application and cheque have been received. In contrast I applied by email to New York Public Library  Archives USA for some records they hold.,within five days I had received by email sixteen pages of the records I had applied for with not a single charge.Really MOD needs to ensure that this service is fit for purpose.
