Monmouthshire / CORONER'S INQUEST 1922
« on: Saturday 20 May 06 20:02 BST (UK)  »
Hi

Can anyone tell me where I might be able to find details of a inquest that took place on 19/01/1922

My ancestor, Jonah West,  was killed in the 'Pentwyn Colliery' on 16 Jan 1922.

Cause of death  accidently suffocated by foul air

Does anyone know if he was the only one killed at this accident or were there others?

Would appreciate any help

Thanks

« on: Sunday 05 March 06 18:04 GMT (UK)  »
Thank you so much - the Newland part fits in with where the younger children were born in the late 1840's early 1850's.

Thanks once again

Looking for information, mainly as to where they may have been living when the 1841 census was taken.

George Gillard     born c1814
Mary Ann Gillard    born c1820
John Gillard          born c1840

Not sure if there would be other children.    Possibly around the Spreyton, North Tawton area of Devon.

Many thanks for any help

Rhys

Thanks for looking.

I know that they were married in Trevethin in Feb 1837 and they seemed to live all their married lives in Trevethin.

Just cannot locate them in either 1841 or 1861.

Thanks once again for looking
