thanks for that,  i looking for his parents. i know so far that he married Frances in 1830 in st giles he had a lot children including Julia. from census it says that he was born in Sheerness Kent , i just find out this afternoon he was summuns for bad debts in 1844, i believed he died in 1851 not sure yet , i cant find on line any record to a birth of a samuel in kent  .

I downloaded the leaflet you sent they say the registers are held at the Kent local archives  I presume it's the maidstone archive you mentioned the family search in Kent, can I find a local one to me I live south  london
