1841 census" faircross welford"
Charles Barrett 66 ag lab
Fanny 64
Harriett 24
David Barrett? 24
Helen Barrett 3

Then that would mean in  1841 census the harriett age 19.. Is granddaughter of Charles and fanny... The little boy at the bottom Henry aged 1 is actually their great grandson by Harriett aged 19. Prior to her marriage to David Radbourne

According to a family tree on ancestry. (But  some other details on there are a little suspect)

Jeremiah barrett...married harriet ( maiden name unknown).
Had a daughter called Harriet Barrett in c.1833...
According to the tree owner..
On the 23rd of July 1853 at Wickham chapel
She married David Radbourne...and only 2 children are featured Henry 1851 and Mary 1856

Any ideas??

Trying to help my best friend with her family history and it's got me really frustrated.. Need some help please.

Her grandfather was called Albert G Barrett. He was born 1st January 1915 in Arlesford Hampshire
The son of BRYCE/Brice Bertie Barraett.and Kate ( maiden name Spencer)

Bryce is the start of the problem
Timeline going backwards...
1965.     Gravestone in Alrestord gives surname Barrett... 31st May 1965... With wife Kate

1939.  Elm cottage , Alresford..  Brice B Barrett..born 1886. Shown with wife Kate. And children
              Henry J 1908   Thomas F 1912 and Albert G 1915
* All children registered and birth as Barrett. Mothers maiden name Spencer
They also had a daughter called Ethel Barrett who was baptised 1906 in Cheriton.  fathers occupation bricklayer

1914....WW1 Brice Bertie Barrett.

This is where I lose the plot...
1911  census ...Bishops Sutton, Alresford
Brice Bertie RADBOURNE.... 24 occ. bricklayer born Newbury
His wife is kate... His daughter Ethel... Is not barrett. Neither is Henry James..and a new name Elizabeth Kate.

1906... Brice Bertie Radbourne married Kate Spencer in 1906

1891... I have found Brice born in Newbury.c.1887 living with his parents. Henry and Mary Radbourne. In Bradley.

My problem.
The only living relative , bless him has the start of alzeimers..but he remembers his dad's name is Albert George Barrett... He knows his grandfather's name was Bryce and grandma as kate. He knows the name Radbourne. But the details are very hazy to why the change.
I cannot find any concrete details

Anyone out there can help me with this mystery. It would mean so much.x

My great grandfather Fred died in the mining accident at firbeck main colliery  just after christmas in 1934. The news report and death certificate give his address at "Hindley House . Worksop". He is buried in st George churchyard woodsetts.  I don't know how long he lived in worksop....

He is the son of Fred Rodgers ( 1856  - 1916) and Mary Ann ( n. Smith). She was born in wisbeach  to John bonfield Smith and Mary ann. .... Apparently they both died in Rotherham

The Fred and fanny connection, previously mentioned  they're not mine.

I'm really unsure.... Fred Rodgers married Elsie Hague 1908. My Fred enlisted in about 1915... And finished service 19th January 1919. He was a grenadier guard. When I wrote to birdcage walk. The archivist capt.Horne did mention that service no!!!.
Can anything else be found out about him?
Of 25 yrs later I'm still no wiser of what he did in the war or when.
The only photo I have of him is at the beginning of the thread.

Thank you so much.xxx
