Technical Help / Photoshop problem
« on: Monday 18 May 20 22:14 BST (UK)  »
G'day all ... I have a problem with my Photoshop7 …
when drawing a rectangle I get the “marching ants”
but the cursor changes from + to a +with a minus sign on the bottom right hand side and gives me 'actions' I don't need ...
I have attached images to explain the problem more clearly
NOTE: I am a post stroke survivor relearning Photoshop again ... hope someone can help

And a very warm welcome back!

Do let Rootschatters help you in your ongoing recovery via Family History Research!  ;D ;D ;D
Thanks IgorStrav ... every day is another day on my journey through my next 20 years of life  ;D

Respect....and welcome back from me too ;)

Monica
Thanks MonicaL ... I have spent time on site during the past week relearning the website ... I need to add more names to my research interests. How do I "get around" the word limit restriction?

I hope that the challenge you are setting yourself makes a positive contribution to your recovery process. All the best in your research and your fight to get back to normal.
... and I thank you too Craclyn ... seems that Rootschat hasn't changed much ... still has helpful, friendly people on board  :)

Family History Beginners Board / n4mv3t returns ;D

G'day everyone ... I haven't posted since 2014 due to serious health problems topped off by a quite debilitating stroke. That's the short story ... to expand a bit, I did not accept the medico's advice 12 months after the stroke that "this is as good as it gets" and have striven constantly to get back to my pre-stroke capabilities ... so my latest challenge is to continue building my family tree and return to rootschat.
I look forward to chasing down more of my family history
regards ... n4mv3t

The other address is probably Marian St, which his widow was living at in 1916 when her youngest son was killed in WW1

It would appear that Andrew Clement WALSH enlisted ....etc  He was not their youngest son.

I cannot see a connection to Tasmania for this family.  Michael WALSH born Co Cork, Ireland emigrated to SA.

Why do you think there is a connection with Tasmania?

not their youngest son?? ... ya mean I've got more to find? ;D ... thought I had them all ... Cecelia, Edward, Gertude, Richmond, Ruby, George, Francis, Andrew and Bernard ... so who am I missing?

ref. the Tasmania connection I recall a connection through the Victorian Walsh's, but that was quite a few months ago

George Leslie, was with 11 Field Amb, spent 3 years looking for information (grave etc) of his youngest brother who died of wounds at Pozieres, France, July 1916 ... sadly there is no known grave ...
... I recently discovered that Iris had a child early in 1919, all facts are known
