Hi Littleoddity thank you for your information I can follow what you said. Your great grandfather was a twin there are Nickson twins in my Nickson side my fathers side of my tree
thank you, I have not got to put in any living relatives, so here goes
First I have Owen Elias married to a Jane Jones in1834 ?

Here is my side of the tree Owen Michael married Grace Owen 1861, and there children were: John R Michael B 1880, Hugh Owen Michael1862, William E Michael 1863, Edward R Michael1871, Emma Michael 1866, Grace E Michael 1869, Margaret Jane Michael1873, Mary A Michae 1879, Catherine Michael 1883. Grace there mother I have as born Abt 1842. There father Owen Michael was born 1836 he died 1906 age 71 Hope you can understand this Emma Hope to here from you regards Val nice to talk to you

Hi Littleoddity this is Nickon lovely to here from you what a great name you have
The name of my great great grandmother, its one of Emma's daughters this is were we come in Grace Owen and she married Owen Michael and one of there son's was  John Richard Michael who was my grandfather.
Yes I live in Liverpool most of my life.
So you come from Glasgow, I would love to no were your grandfather Peter is connected and your self and you have gone back to 1674 that is very good

Hi westkirby It is nice to get in touch with someone who is connected to the Elias.
I was at Llanfechell were Owen Elias done his training before he came to Liverpool, and we came across the Grave of John Elias son of John Elias the Rev who was well known in the 1800 cen his wife Elizabeth who died age 59. was buried in the next grave to there son.
I know that the John Elias met Owen but are they relatives ?
My connection is Emma Elias she is in Edwards and Williams Elias Will it gives alot of names. Emma was my Great Great grandmother Who is your Grand father C F Elias. I am from Liverpool.
I have a photo of Owen Elias Grave, and Edward, William, Hugh, and Margaret, grave if there is a way of sending you them if you don't all ready have them. My email is in my profile. Hi Jorose 3850.
Thank you for your map of the streets, my sister and I walked the street's to find Owen and William Elias. names we took photograph of the name plates from the streets and of couse some of the whole streets, this is the names we followed.
Oxon, Winslow, Eton, Neston,   Andrew, Nimrod, Dane, Wilburn, Ismay, Lowell, Lind, Index, Arnot, Makin.  Olney, Weldon, Euston, Nixon,  Eton, Liston, Imrie, Astor, Stuart.
Hope this helps I will look at the http://www.gazettes-online.co.uk/ as soon as I can that would be intresting. and thank you for the info on the Times paper  regards Nickon

I am new on the site and I am intrested in Owen Elias and his son William Owen Elias and his family my conection is with Owen Elias sister Emma.
William O Elias built a further series of streets with the initial
that gave the name of his eldest son, E Alfred.
These start at Espin st and finish at Dyson st, thus these Generations of this family of welsh buildersshare in the memorial. It is said that Owen Elias was chairman of the first meeting in Liverpool addressed by John Bright and it was at this meeting the phrase " Liverpool as the capital of Wales.
Owen Elias came to liverpool with two of his brothers one was Edward Elias, then there was William Elias. William O Elias was married to Martha Williams in 1870 martha father was William William the first welsh town councillor of Liverpool. I have the Welsh builder on merseyside it dose hold a lot of information
