Somerset Lookup Requests / Re: Can anyone help me

Hi Sue, Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm trying to tie in three different Norris families. I'm doing research for myself and two others. I found some info today and wonder if it rings a bell with anyone on this board?
Henry J. Norris b: 5/1866 in Edington, Burtle and his father William b: 1837 are from a friends family. It looks like William's father might have been a George b: 1792 in Edington d: 1868 in Edington. If ancestry.com is correct then George's father was a Matthew b: 1755 and died 1834 in Edington or in that area.
I'm pretty sure in my last note I wrote that William was married to Sarah Cox and she died right after the birth of Stephen. The Norris', the Cox's and the Pitman's keep coming up but other than Sarah's marriage to William, I can't tie the families together. I am sure Henry, William's son, didn't just get off the boat and hand Mary Ann to strangers. The Pitman's were from Bridgwater and both of the other families have records that show they were either born there, married in that town or moved between Edington and Bridgwater. Dottie/Emerald
