thanks I was looking to see who lived at 56 Irishtown in 1901 and the link from Sinnan was amazing enough number 56, my mother was born there and her family had lived there for just over 100 years. They only moved in there in 1919 but I have a photo taken before then which shows a small child standing at the door and was trying to find who it could have been

Hi
The section for Irishtown  Clonmel seems to be missing from the 1901 census is there someone I can contact to see if it is missing or just not on line yet ? Also is there a way to get access to documents held in National Archive. I see documents on there that are related to family members but am not getting any response from them on how I could access them
Thanks
Paul

On a birth cert for his daughter in 1934 William's address is Kilbrogan Hill Bandon and his profession is sergeant civic guard. Is there anywhere I can look for more details of his time as a guard ?

Armed Forces / Re: Tracing WWI Medal Holders

thanks for the suggestions, the medal belonged to Percival Page Corporal then Serjeant in RAMC, I found his medal record. He doesn't appear on the Commonwealth War Graves so he must have survived the war.

I recently purchases a set of WWI medals to replace family ones that were lost. The name of the person who previously owned them is on the back, a member of the RAMC, any ideas how I could trace some details of them. ? thanks
