Just had a message from Belfordian and I have no idea how to reply,so heres hoping he/she gets this. My Glass family are mostly from Berwick upon Tweed. The furthest back is James 1801. He had 5 daughters and 1 son Thomas c1829. I have hit a brick wall with Thomas. Of the daughters at least 1 remained in Berwick(Margaret 1821) Hannah (1836) was my Gt.Gt Gran she married a James Wight and moved to Kelso. Jane (1837) married a Daniel Marshall and moved to Newcastle. I have hit a wall with the other daughters Isabella(1826) Mary(1831) There were other Glasses in Berwick who I feel sure must be related in fact they lived in same street (Kiln Hill) but I cant connect them. Hope you get this message or if someone else sees it please pass on. Thank you
