Monica that’s what I was thinking but the dna sort of convinced me.  As for the Catherine what an amazing find I had no idea of her.  It does possibly explain the brother John naming one of his daughters Catherine

Hi Monica once again thank you for your help and leads, I have seen your first reply as for a sister Ann I’m not sure, the issue I came across with John Campbell and Francis forrester is my own Thomas Campbell there sons birth can be found so possibly more children than John, James, Lillias and Colin.

On ancestry I’m connected three dna to a Colin Campbell but his death cert his parents are John Campbell and euphoniua forrest.  As for the son john I mentioned on the forum on Lanarkshire page where is William looks promising for other children of him going by the address. The Campbells didn’t make it easy specially when your 3x great grandparents were both Campbells.

It’s been along time since anyone one was  active on this thread but I’d love to see the 1861 census I have a John Campbell death certificate in 1867 and the address given is the same as mentioned I’m wondering if this may have been his father he  was married to a Christian Wright and his parents were John Campbell and Frances Forrester my 4x great grandparents I have quite a few certificates from other parts of the family if it’s the right family I’m willing to share.

Thanks for adding the links on the last you will find Charles marriage and his two daughters Annie and Margaret’s marriage William and Bridget and not on it yet you will also find deaths of Rose, Joseph and Charles, this family are mostly buried in Drung Chapel.  Charles Hamilton wife Mary Ms Duffy children Joseph, Rose, Charles and Dan are remembered on the one head stone but, the dates of death and ages for the 3 young children are different from the records, children Annie married name Kearney and Bridget married name Grant are also in this burial ground.
