Researching my great grandmother Rose Ella McKegney. She had a brother Michael. I believe that his parents were James and Martha.

I am researching my great great grandfather, Thomas Costigan. He was a son of William Costigan and Mary Mooney born August 18, 1844 in Dunkerrin, Co. Offaly, Ireland. He also had siblings named William and Honor (brother and sister). William Costigan and Mary Mooney married Nov. 21, 1833

Thank you for your input. My Edward's father was Redmond and mother was Charlotte Savage. The latest info that I have has them living in Down in 1864 as listed in Griffiths Valuation in the civil parish of Loughinisland.

I am looking for information about my gg grandfather. He was born in Ireland in 1844 and, I believe he emigrated in 1853. At this point I have been unable to ascertain where in Ireland he was from. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Happy New Year

Almost forgot, in the 1901 census the family is listed at 11 Washington St in the St. Mark parish.

In the 1871 Census the McLattons resided at 2 Henry Edward St in the St. Stephen's Ecclesiastical district of Liverpool. Elizabeth was 13 at the time of that census. Although I can't find further reference to McLatton in a later census, I do find Elizabeth Burns (her married name) listed as a servent at 16 Walton Rd in the St. Mary's Ecclesiastical Parish (Everton) in 1881 and again, in 1891, listed with her 2 oldest children, at Beresforth St, Court # 5, St. Ambrose (Everton). I believe that this is all the same person because the age is very close and the birthplace is Gibralter.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated.

I am researching my ancestry. My mother's maternal grandmother was Elizabeth Mclatton. She was born in Gibralter around 1859 to John and Mary McLatton. She had two sisters that I know of, Mary Jane, born in Wales around 1855 and Catherine, also born in Gibralter around 1861. They then lived in Liverpool. Elizabeth married Edward Burns. They had 5 children and emigrated to Rhode Island, USA.
