Thankyou sadly I tried to play around with the record but to make it small enough for roots chat to accept it , the problem to enlarge it afterwards resulted in it out of focus.

Hi all, would love to find the ww1 regiment of my great uncle Joseph Wood, this is the only picture i have with him in. He was born in Frome in 1892,then moved to Burnham on Sea later on . With knowing the uniform might help me find his military records.Regards Scott Wood

Hi all, I am seeking hopefully the death details of James Treleven Doel (Dole) who was last noted in 1871 census living in Wellington Row,Portsea,Portsmouth. His wife is found next census 1881 back in Frome ,Somerset and shown as widowed. All normal sites does not show James's death he was born 1830 in Stoke Damerell(Devonport) Plymouth and his death has eluded me!

Thank you all very much for looking into this puzzle! SUZ you seem to be spot on with your findings. It looks like she took her stepfathers name (Wakeley) as her maiden name when she married ,her sister (my gr grandmother) kept her maiden name as Colley when she married .Kate was known to my mother as Great Aunt Kit ! Many thanks again
