Thank you everybody for your wonderful handiwork!

They are all so lovely, that it makes it very difficult to pick my favourite! but I think that it will have to be Carol's bordered one - Thank you!

Carol, my Mum died on 10.10.2014 on what would have been their 73rd Wedding Anniversary, if my Dad had still been alive.

Many thanks once again everybody

Oh dear :-[ I seem to be making a habit of failing to reply to your posts :-[ Profuse apologies once again ::)

Unfortunately, FH is having to take a back seat - at least for the time being - but I will at least make comment on your post!............

I now know more about my grandmother than I ever did before!

The surname Burch rings a VERY vague bell, but have not got a clue why ??? ::)

Thanks for your help

Snaptoo, I take it “Nellie” is Ellen Lempriere Deane?  Do you know if she had any family or when she died?
I’m afraid I don’t yet have much experience of tracing people in England, so probably can’t add much to what you know of your Deanes over there.  :-\
Thanks to the link to the Wilson (etc) site – I’d forgotten about its existence.
I’ve no objections if someone wants to split the thread by the way.

:-[ :-[  Profuse apologies MFGilbert - it would appear that I have overlooked replying to your post :-[ :-[

I am sorry, but I know nothing other than she was called Nellie. My father died in May 1976, which was long before I started even thinking about FH, so never thought to ask him about his Aunt. There is nobody left on his side of the family that I am aware of, so I have no-one to ask :( :(

Once again, apologies for the tardy reply :-[

Thank you so much for your reply. I have decided to put it to one side for now, as I have got so much going on at the moment! Perhaps I had better close this thread, as am not certainwhen I shall get back to it :-\

Apologies once again

Apologies Aghadowey for tardy response :-[.

Thank you for your suggestion. Is there any way that I can change the title on this thread, or do I have to close this one and open a new one ??? ???

Have no idea where to post this, so I am sure that it will be moved if necessary.

Following the death of my Mother last year, I am gradually working my way through all her 'papers'!

Today I found an unbound copy of 'The Ancestors of Patrick and Peronelle Kinnell' compiled by Douglas Busk  1970

Also copies of two obituaries of Sir Douglas Busk.

I do not want to sell these, I just want them to go to anyone who has an interest in the family.

Why are they in my possession I hear you ask ??? ??? My Mother did a lot of secretarial work for him!

I hope that someone will come forward to claim these items

The Lighter Side / Re: How many unique names are there in UK?
« on: Tuesday 15 September 15 17:22 BST (UK)  »
Have been following this thread with interest :D

I googled my four names - no match :D

I then tried variations ie omitting one or other of my middle names - no match

I then tried all those variations with various spellings of my surname - no match :D
