Worcestershire Lookup Requests / Upton-on-Severn Parish Registers - HOLLOWAY

I've tried IGI and all the ancestry.com records, but can't find the birth of Richard Holloway, b. 1791 or 1792 in Upton on Severn. The census records put him there from 1841 till his death in 1886 and there's an A2A record of him in 1809 placing him in U o S then.

Are the Upton on Severn parish registers available online or must they be viewed in the Worcs. history centre? If so, is anyone visiting before it closes for refurb? I won't be able to get time off for a visit in the near future.

I'm looking for a John Paisley b. 1869, m. Martha Brennan b. 1874 in Carnmoney, both were teachers at Mossley School. They would have had some children by 1911: Nell, Emmy, Joseph, John Carson.

Worcestershire Lookup Requests / Upton Baptist at Worcester Records Office - HOLLOWAY

Hi,

If any of you kind souls are in the Record office in Spetchley Road, Worcester could you take a look at the Upton on Severn Baptist Church records? The records have been fairly recently deposited there. The BA number is 14252 and the shelf number is 4811 (I don't know what these mean, but should make sense).

My g g g g grandfather was born in ~1792 in Upton on Severn but is not listed in any available records, so I'm assuming he was non-conformist.

His name is Richard Holloway. He appears in census records in the town from 1841 through to 1871. He married in Tewkesbury in 1815 to Sarah Brooks.

Any additional information would be very much appreciated

Hi,

I wonder does anyone have access to the parish and Baptist records for Upton on Severn? I've got to the limit of Census and birth registration data.

I'm looking for a Richard Holloway who it appears lived in Upton on Severn all his life. He was born in 1791 (or possibly 1792). I have a record of him having lost his spade in 1809!

I am looking for a record of his birth in either the parish or local Baptist church records, which I believe are in the Worcester records office.

Any information would be much appreciated

Does anyone have access to: Cullybackey, The Story of an Ulster Village by William Shaw, published 1913? It's on Google books which tantalisingly reveals that it has some information about my g g grandfather, but I can't view the book...

Ayrshire / Laird of Drumochrein

I am descended from a William (Laird) Mark who received as inheritance the proceeds from the estate of the Laird of Drumochrein in Ayrshire. I can't find any reference to Drumochrein on present day maps or archives. I'd appreciate any help given.

Gloucestershire Lookup Requests / Holloway Marriage Tewkesbury - Parish Register

Can anyone advise if the parish register for a marriage in 1815 would have the parents listed?

If so, if anyone has access to the parish register for Tewkesbury could they please lookup the marriage of Richard Holloway to Sarah Brooks (both of T. parish) on 23/10/1815. I would love to know the parents' names so that I can continue the search.
